Best times to travel to the greek islands is from May 15th to October 15th. From June 15th to August 15th you will experience the hottest period of the season and thats when the islands are the most crowded, and room rates are, of course, at their highest. Plan your trip and accomodations early!

You may also want to consider the infamous "meltemia" which are a gusty wind phenomenon affecting the islands during the first two weeks of August.
